The funeral for Alma Osten will be at 11 a.m. Monday at North Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids, Minn., with the Rev. Curt Tilleraas. Burial will be in West North Immanuel Cemetery in Pelican Rapids, Minn.
Mrs. Osten, 89, of Pelican Rapids, Minn., mother of Virginia Schmidt of Zumbrota, died on Thursday (August 7, 2008) at Pelican Valley Nursing Home in Pelican Rapids, Minn.
Survivors include her husband, Victor of Pelican Rapids, Minn.; a son, Lyle (Bonnie) of Callaway, Minn.; a daughter, Virginia (Robert) Schmidt of Zumbrota; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters. She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Larson Funeral Home in Pelican Rapids, Minn.
