POTOSI, Wis. -- Tiffany Marie Kastner, 14, of Potosi, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Mount Horeb.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Tennyson, with the Rev. Richard Leffler officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, at the church, where the parish rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Friends also may call after 10 a.m. Monday at the church. The Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home, Platteville, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on July 22, 1994, at Southwest Health Center Hospital, Platteville, daughter of John "Dan" and Nancy (Placke) Kastner. She attended St. Andrew-Thomas School, Potosi, and would have been a freshman this upcoming year at Potosi High School.
Tiffany enjoyed singing and was active in the school choir. She liked to hunt, fish, go camping and swimming. She especially enjoyed spending time with her cousins.
Surviving are her parents, John "Dan" and Nancy Kastner, of Potosi; her brother, Brett, of Potosi; maternal grandmother, Susan Placke, of Potosi; paternal grandparents, John and Pamela Kastner, of Platteville; aunts and uncles, David and Gina Kastner, of Platteville; Darcy Kastner and fiance, Ryan Banfield, of Cuba City, Judy and Chris Johll and Dennis Placke, all of Potosi, and Jane and John Grabowski, of Crivitz; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Lloyd Placke.
