Elizabeth "Betty" C. Fraker, 85, resident of Coeur d'Alene, passed away in Coeur d'Alene Aug. 3, 2008. She was born May 4, 1923, in Milwaukee, Wis. Betty married George L. Fraker in 1945.

Betty was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran and moved to this area 55 years ago. She retired from Washington Water Power after 22 years. Betty was a member of St. Luke Episcopal Church in Coeur d'Alene. She enjoyed music, playing piano, sewing and fishing.

Betty is survived by George at the home; and her sister, Gladys Cherlier of Denver.

She was preceded in death by her son, Martin Lewis Fraker in 1978.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, ID 83835.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. - noon Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene. Private service with burial at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens, Coeur d'Alene.
