She was born July 8, 1920, in Terre Haute, the daughter of Fred and Martha Wesnitzer Gossman. She attended Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from Otter Creek High School. She then worked at Gillis Drug Store. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and the Prairieton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Doyne E. Barnes; her second husband, Charles Park; her parents; four brothers, Fred, John, Richard and Robert Gossman; and two sisters, Elizabeth Sapp and Dorothy Targett.
Mass of Christian burial was at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Entombment was in Calvary Cemetery.
