Musician, Composer. He was a guitarist and founding member of the 1980s rock band Robert Hazard and the Heroes. Formed in Philadelphia during the late 1970s, they are best known for the hits "Change Reaction" and "Escalator of Life". Hazard is perhaps best remembered for writing the song "Girls Just Want To Have Fun", which was the first hit for Cyndi Lauper and became a platinum record in early 1984. The song since then has been covered by numerous artists. His notable albums include the self-titled "Robert Hazard" (1982), "Wing of Fire" (1984), "Darling" (1986) and "Troubadour" (2007).
