Bea Klekas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away at her home in Sandy, UT on August 4, 2008.

She was born September 24, 1925 to Andrew C. and Zada Aldrich Bell in Wattis, UT. Bea met her husband, Gus J. Klekas, at Westminster College in Salt Lake City and they were married on January 6, 1951, in Las Vegas, NV. After his graduation, they moved to Hogeland, MT for one year. They then moved to Bishop, CA, where they would spend the next 40 years of life before returning to Utah. Her life always revolved around her family and she loved to support her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in all of their endeavors. She was an avid supporter of the Bishop High Broncos sports teams, where her husband coached, and upon returning to Utah became a huge fan of the Utah Jazz. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by her husband, Gus; daughter, Ann (Karl) Andreason; sons, Chris (Julie) and Joe (Pam); 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen, Elizabeth, Andrea and Geraldine. Bea was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Rowana and Marilee.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT. Friends may call on Friday one hour prior to services.
Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
