Mrs. Nora A. Beatty, 55, Dies at Home

Mrs. Nora A. Beatty, 55, died at 9:15 a.m. today at her home, 204 Fourth street. She had been in failing health three years and in serious condition two weeks.

She was the wife of Sgt. Melvin Beatty, who is stationed at Mountain Home Air Force base in Idaho.

Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Terry Utterback of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Herschel Bridgewater of Nineveh route 1 and Mrs. Everett Duke of Indianapolis; a niece, Mrs. Albert Zeigler of 3755 Middle road, and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Beatty was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic church. She was born in Columbus Feb. 24, 1910, the late Frank B. and Mary Barth Reno and lived all of her life here.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bartholomew church by the Rev. Francis Dooley. Burial will be at Garland Brook cemetery.

Persons may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at Barkes and Inlow funeral home.
