CRESCENT CITY - Thelma Morris Abbott, 91, of Crescent City, a former longtime DeLand resident, died Saturday at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka.

Mrs. Abbott, a former seamstress, was born in Wooster, Ark., and moved to Crescent City from DeLand in 1989. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Seville.

Survivors include a son, Joseph, DeLeon Springs; a daughter, Wanda Wilkenson, Ponce Inlet; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Clayton Frank & Biggs Funeral Home, Crescent City, is in charge.
