Mrs. Rhoda Ann Densford was born November 30, 1831, near Salem and died after a long illness at the home of her son, Jesse M. Collins, October 16, 1915, aged 83y, 10 m, and 16 d. She was united with the Baptist Church when quite young and remained a faithful member until death. Deceased was united in marriage to David Collins, November 15, 1853, and to this union were born five sons and one daughter. He husband preceded her to the beyond in 1885. She leaves four sons, Loving G. of Seymour, Jesse M. and Thomas, of this place (Tampico), and John, of Florida. She also leaves one sister, several grandchildren some Great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. The funeral services were held at the home Monday at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. C. O. Stewart, assisted by Elder J. B. Waskom, followed by interment in the Crothersville Cemetery.
