Steven was born Nov. 22, 1942 to Earl Crandall and Emeline Janie Opheikens Wade. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission in California and held many other callings. He attended and graduated from Ogden High School. Steven met and married Linda Anderson but they were later divorced. He then met Connie May Christiansen and they were married on December 27, 1982 and were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a hard and dedicated worker for more than 37 years at ATK/Thiokol in Clearfield, UT. Steven enjoyed rebuilding cars, outdoor recreation, and being with his best friends AJ and Tad.
Steven leaves behind his eternal companion Connie; four children, Teri Rich of Ogden; Michael Wade of Morgan; Evan (Sherylyn) Wade of Coalville; Nicole (Peter) Scrivano, Morgan; and six grandchildren that he loved and thought the world of. He also leaves his sisters, sisters-in-law, a brother, brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew, a sister-in-law and a son-in-law.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Milton Cemetery. Friends and family may call at Walker Mortuary in Morgan on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
