THE DAY AT HOUSTON. The Harvest of Death. Houston, Tex., Oct. 15.
To-day at 12 o'clock Mrs. Mathilda, wife of Mr. Daniel Kattoche (sic),
died at the family home, on Travis street, near Bell avenue. She had
been sick several years. She was born in Louisiana forty-five years ago
and leaves a husband, daughter, and sister here to mourn her death. The
family came here from New Orleans about twenty-five years ago. The
funeral wil be conducted from the family home to-morrow at 4 p.m. to
Glenwood cemetery, where the interment will take place.
