Amanda Rae Brown, age 18, of Austin, the heart of many hearts was too soon taken to be with her Heavenly Father on April 7, 2008.

Beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin, a tremendous void will be felt by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Sean Sullivan; her grandfather, "Pawpaw" Howard Kelly; her grandmother, Asuncion B. Alvarado.

Amanda is survived by her mother, Christine Brown of Austin; father, Leonard Brown of Houston; her brother, Zachry Brown of Austin; her brother, Christopher Sullivan of Austin; her sister-in-law and nephew, Melody and Chance Sullivan; her grandmother, Carol Kelly of New Orleans; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Amanda started her life in the PIC unit at Brackenridge Hospital. Odds were given that she would not survive the major heart problems she was born with. God saw to it to leave her with her family for these 18 years. Although she faced numerous surgeries and medical setbacks, she thrived and became a beautiful young woman. As
her tiny heart and she grew, it became like a patchwork quilt not only through her surgeries but by all the pieces of everyone's heart she gathered within her along her short life. An angel here with us, now an angel resting in the arms of God. To all who love, hold them today, tell them today.
