He married Tillie Gichtin on Feb 14, 1943 in Buffalo, Erie Co, NY.

He worked for the Buffalo Evening News from 1937 to 1941. Then for WBNY 1942-1944. Employed for a time by Columbia Broadcasting System in California. 1946 by the National Gypsum Company in Buffalo.

Norm served in the Army during World War II from 1944 to 1945.

The birth date on the gravestone is incorrect, he was born 30 Oct 1915.
