Born in Harrison, Arkansas to Woodrow and Dorothy Garvin Villines, Jere was a lifelong lover of animals and a loyal Dallas Cowboy and Arkansas Razorback fan. On January 28, 1983 Jere married Don Hodnett in Omaha, Arkansas. She was an accountant and worked much of her life for Transportaion Life. Jere was a loving mother to Stephanie Nelson and stepmom to Langston Hodnett who both preceded her in death.
