Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Baker passed away on March 16th, 2012 at the Mercy Hospital in Tishomingo.
Joeanna was born on December 9th, 1917 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma to Joe Tripp and Pearl (Cash) Tripp. She grew up in Mill Creek and graduated from Mill Creek High School in 1937. While at home, she helped in raising her brothers and sisters. On September 8th, 1942, she married J. D Baker in Leesville, Louisiana. They lived in different parts of the country for several years where she worked at various jobs. They returned to Johnston County in 1969 from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mr. Baker preceded her in death on July 23rd, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lyndon & Cletus Tripp and a sister, Jane Ashby.
