Roy William Lewelling was born Oct. 4, 1901, near Adrian, Kans. On Apr. 23, 1930, he married Edith Sophia Jenkins. She is a daughter of Morris and Anne James Jenkins and was born in Jackson County, Kans. on Feb. 22, 1905. After finishing District School at High Prairie he took a short course at Kansas State College, Manhattan. Since their marriage they have lived on the old Lewelling farm north of Delia, Kans. He is a prominent farmer and leader in community affairs, member of the Masonic Lodge, 32º, at Topeka. They have four children.
