Brent Lee Black passed from this life Friday, June 29, 2007 in Kilgore, TX at 28 years of age. He was born on June 10, 1979 in Wichita, KS to David and Shelia (Lee) Black. Brent grew up in Tahlequah attending Tahlequah schools, and school in Waco, Tex and surrounding areas. He enjoyed acting and had been involved in the drama department of Tahlequah High School where he played a part in "West of the Pecos". Brent worked as a general laborer in the oil fields. He had a passion for art and music and enjoyed making portraits and designing tattoos.
Brent is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lester Black and Earl Lee. He is survived by his fiance, Carmen Barnhill of Gladewater, TX; his son, Samson Earl Lee Black of Gladewater, TX; his mother, Sheila Strickland and her husband, Keith, of Roswell, GA; his father, David Black and wife, Sherry, of Tahlequah; his brothers, Tommy Black of Tahlequah, Kyle Black of Roswell, GA and Daniel Anderson of Hollis, OK; his sister, Samantha Anderson of Hollis, OK; his grandmothers, Ruby Lee of Okay, OK. and Betty Black of Wichita, KS; a special cousin David Allen Lee; and numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
