Fred J. Krehmke, Plato farmer, died at his home at 1:30 o'clock this morning, following an attack of the grip. He had been sick only a few days.
Fred J. Krehmke was born June 21, 1843 in Germany. He came to this country forty-three years ago. For more than forty years he had resided in Plato township.
Besides his widow he is survived by five children, Mrs. Elizabeth Bierig of North Plato, John of McQueen, Minnie of Elgin, Albert of Ashton and Fred of Hampshire.
The funeral services will be held from the late home at 12 o'clock on Tuesday and from the North Plato church at 1 o'clock.

Fred J. Krehmke died at 1:45 o'clock this morning at his residence at Plato Center. For the past forty years he had lived here.
Forty-two years ago he came to this country from Germany, where he was born June 21, 1843. His illness had lasted but a few days, following an attack of grip which heart trouble finally caused his death.
His widow and five children survive, Mrs. Lizzie Vierieg of North Plato, John of McQueen, Miss Minnie of Elgin, Albert of Ashton, Ill., Fred of Hampshire, and one sister living in Minnesota.
The funeral will be held at 12 o'clock Tuesday at the home, and at 1 o'clock at the North Plato church. Burial at North Plato.
