He passed away Feb. 19 at the Des Moines V A Hospital at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 18 days. He was united in marriage Apr 9, 1938 to Berniece Miller at Clarinda.
He attended the Mercer Center Methodist Church when a young man. He served his country during World War I.
He is survived by his wife Berniece, one brother Ernie and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and 3 sisters and 1 brother.
Mr Alexander had a pleasant disposition, always enjoyed visiting with people and will be sadly missed by his family and a host of friends.
