Henrietta & Leo lived next door to my mom when I was growing up. I always called them aunt and uncle even though we weren't related because they seemed like family. Henrietta didn't write well in her later years and I would address packages and envelopes for her as she was always sending presents to her relatives in Europe.
She also had a garden every year and would give us beans, tomatos and other vegetables from her garden. My grandma said she grew the best rhubarb in the area.
