Dick was also a volunteer for the Meals On Wheels program. His brother Bob was our landlord for several years and many times Dick accompanied him to help him fix little problems we had around the house. Dick also was very kind and invited us to celebrate Christmas with his family. A very nice man. We went out with them for dinner several times and I always thought Dick was a nice guy. He certainly had a good heart. I recall how proud he was of his grandchildren and how he always told me about their accomplishments. He was also an animal lover who doted on his cats.
