CAMAS-Cecil Albert, a retired beaterman from Crown Zellerbach Corp., died Tuesday in Camas. He was 78.
He was born Aug. 5, 1907, in Salem, Ill., and had lived in Camas for 50 years. He last resided at 27714 SE Seventh Ave. (Street).
Mr. Albert was a former member of the Association of Western Pulp and Paper Workers, Local 5 of Camas; the Golden Crown Club of Camas; the 25-year Club; and the 49er Trailer Club.
Survivors include his widow, Charlotte, at home; a son, Richard of Camas; a daughter, Rebecca Huss of Camas; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Fern Prairie Cemetery. The Rev. John Reynolds will officiate.
Brown's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
