Grandson of Dexter Albro and Clara Brant.
DEXTER B. ALBRO II, 75, of Mapledale Avenue, a custodian for the West Greenwich School Department, retiring in 1986, died Friday at home. He was the husband of Vera F. (Greaves) Albro.

Born in Coventry, a son of the late Wilfred P. and Minnie (Fiske) Albro, he was raised by his grandparents, the late Dexter B. and Clara A. (Brant) Albro.

Mr. Albro had been an iron molder for the L. Brayton Foundry and the Putnam Foundry. He had been a licensed shell fisherman for more than 20 years.

He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla I704 and the AARP. He was a communicant of Shepherd of the Valley United Methodist Church.

Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Lesley L. Therrien of Coventry and Rebecca M. Lussier of Orleans, Mass.; a brother, Wallace E. Albro of Walpole, N.H.; two sisters, Barbara Pupillo of Pawcatuck, Conn., and Nancy Booker of Norwich, Conn.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Winifred Kershaw and Patricia Panus.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Shepherd of the Valley United Methodist Church, 604 Seven Mile Rd., Scituate. Burial will be in the Mapleroot Cemetery.
