Amelia Frances was the daughter of John L. White and Elizabeth Roberts. Born May 13 1854, in Weston, Collin County Texas.

Her siblings were Benjamin Franklin White (1850-1924), Samuel Bogard White (1851-1917), Larkin A. White (1855-1931) and Elizabeth (1860-????).

In 1860 she lost her mother giving birth to her sister Elizabeth. She was living in Weston, Collin County, Texas with her father, siblings, and grandparents Benjamin White and Ame Needham.

In 1869 was a tragic year, she lost her father and her grandfather.

In 1870 she was living with her brothers Larkin and Samuel in Highland, Collin County, Texas with Hester Russell's family (unknown relation).

On October 4, 1875 she married George Washington Carpenter in Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas.

1900 - Menard County, Texas.
1910 - McCulloch County, Texas.
