Private Arthur Oliver Anderson was severely wounded in action on Saturday, May 18th 1918 near Cantigny (Picardy) in France. At the time he was serving with Company A, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, American Expeditionary Forces. He was later awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his actions that day. Rest in Peace.
