Joe William Walker, 34, of Lenoir, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at Caldwell County Hospice.
He was born Nov. 18, 1968, in Cook County, Chicago, Ill. to Roger Allen and Frances Crump Walker of Lenoir.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Juanita Pipes.
Mr. Walker was a truck driver for Hancock Transportation and attended New Beginning Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Johnna Brown Walker of the home; two sons, Joseph Junior Walker of Lenoir and Tyler Joe Walker of the home; a daughter, Miss Heather Kay Walker of Lenoir; a stepdaughter, Ms. Ashley Leah Carlton of the home; two brothers, Gregg Walker and Scott Walker, both of Lenoir, and a sister, Miss Susan Walker of Lenoir.
Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
