Floyd B. Ager, 59, died of a heart attach at his home Friday morning about 8:25 o'clock.
He was born Feb. 25, 1896 at Frederika, the son of William and Olive Ager, and was a lifelong resident of this community and a member of the Methodist church. A graduate of Frederika high school and Gates college at New Hampton, he married Hazel M. Harker, Jan. 29, 1919, at Quasqueton.
He was president of the Alcock cemetery board of trustees and a church board member as well. His wife survives. along with one son, Harold L. Ager. and one brother, Donald of Waterloo.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm at the Perry Funeral home in New Hampton with Revs. Clark Crowell and Carl Carlsen in charge, and burial following in the Alcock cemetery, Frederika.
