Howard T. Martin's name is on 2 head stones. ON one with Winnifred E. Thompson with only his birth year. Then on this one with a death date. I would assume from this that he is buried in the grave with the death date.

Howard lived with his mother until her death in 1955. He thought he would never marry and put his name on his mother's headstone.
He then met Edna whose husband Thomas Gillespie died 5 years before.
They married and she died in 1979. Howard buried Edna with her first husband since the grave was already there with her name on the stone. He just added his last name to hers.
2 years later Howrd passed and was buried with Edna and her first husband!
