The Kifer family moved from Warren County, Kentucky to Hamilton County, Illinois & then to Warrick County, Indiana, where they finally settled.
Hester Ann, was the daughter of ARCHIBALD KIFER & MATILDA STONE KIFER.

She was married to WILLIAM JASPER GREER on October 19, 1856 in Warrick County, Indiana. They were blessed with 14 children:
01. Louisa Jane Greer Beeson (1857 -1926)
02. Simon Greer (1858 -1930)
03. Mary Matilda Greer McSwane (1860 -1909)
04. Stephen Greer (1861 -1908)
05. Claudie Greer (1863 -1875)
06. DAVID JEFFERSON GREER (1866 -1909)
07. Joshua Greer (1868 -1928)
08. Hester Ann Greer Osborne (1870 -)
09. William Jasper Greer, Jr. (1871 -1934)
