Munjor -- Alfred "Fritz'' Augustine, 62, died Feb. 2, 1990, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita. He was born May 2, 1927, at Hays, the son of Joseph and Cunnigunda Korbe Augustine.

He was an oil field driller. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Munjor, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Hays.

On Oct. 27, 1970, he married Ernestine Lamkin at Cheyenne Wells, Colo. She survives.

Other survivors include: four daughters, Angela Augustine, of the home, Kathleen Miller, Albuquerque, N.M., Pamela Pulkrabek and Cynthia, both of Aurora, Colo.; two stepsons, Douglas Philip, Olathe, and Robert Philip, Munjor; a stepdaughter, Patricia Werth, Hays; father, Hays; five brothers, Marvin, La Crosse, Ralph, Robert and Lavern, all of Hays, Francis, Salina; three sisters, Mary Ann Whitaker, Emporia, Joesphine Urban, Ellis, and Norma Weigel, Hays; and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Munjor, with Father Didacus Dunn presiding. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Hays Memorial Chapel, Hays. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
