Tessie and Forrest enjoyed meeting old friends and making new friends as members of local, state and national Numismatic Associations for over fifty years. She was the 2006 recipient of the John J. Pittman Award presented by the North Carolina Numismatic Association for her life-long dedication to and support of other numismatists. The family wishes to express its sincerest appreciation to Piedmont Home Care of Lexington, N.C. for its care during the early stages of her illness. Words cannot express our gratitude for the love, compassion, and excellent care provided to Tessie and the family by Hospice of Davidson County.
