Theodore S. "Ted" Ankney, 73, of Hillsdale, Michigan, passed away June 24, 2008, at the Hillsdale Community Health Center. He was born December 31, 1934 in Hillsdale to Connie Frank & Bessie (Gilmer) Ankney. He was married May 5, 1956 to Jean Flowers and she survives.
Ted was a retired truck driver and a member of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving besides his wife Jean are three daughters, Valerie Uphold, Hillsdale, Kelly (Dave) Uphold, Osseo and Elizabeth Borton, Hillsdale; son, Theodore Ankney II, Reading; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Wilson, Hillsdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Constance & Shirley.
