It is often said of great women, that their love of family, friends and the Lord reaches far beyond this life. Mother was one of these great women. She had such a capacity for joy and happiness. She saw only the good in everyone. We all loved her so much and always felt her home was a safe haven.
God took the warmth of a summer sun,
The generous soul of nature,
The majesty of a tree,
The calm of a quiet sea.
Then God combined these qualities.
His masterpiece was now complete.
He lovingly called her Mother.
