Erected in memory of Mrs. Elizabeth, wife of Mr. Noah Alden, who died Jan. ye 12th. A.D. 1798, in ye 23rd year of her age.
"Farewell husband, children dear,
May Jesus for your help appear;
And be your father kind and just
While I am mouldering in the dust.
Here is the end of all that love,
This is my dark, long home;
