Henry County Local---May 7, 2008
Sandra K. Batterton, age 60 of Louisville, formerly of Henry County, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville. She was a member of Kenwood Heights Christian Church and had worked for National Reinforced Steel and Hazelwood Center. She was the daughter of the late Hillis Batterton.
She is survived by her mother, Ileana Underwood, Louisville; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by one brother, Troy Batterton.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville. Rev. Randy Beard, Pastor of Kenwood Heights Christian Church and Rev. Larry Keaton, Chaplain at the Hazelwood Center, officiated. Interment was in Pleasureville Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Maray Baker, Roberta Clubb, Larry Erwin, Paul Dean Heightchew and Maurice Squeak Payton.
Pallbearers were Mark Aubrey, James Baker, William Baker, Alan Dean Clubb, Joey Clubb and Tom Payton.
