Mary was the first wife of Benjamin Franklin Barham and mother of Everett, Wylie, Luella, Ernest, Hubert, Francis and Asa Barham.
She and son, Hubert, died at her home in Hamburg, Virginia, within two weeks of each other in October/November, 1892, from Typhoid Fever. They are buried in Green Hill Cemetery in Luray but with no grave markers. There is a Barham section at the foot of the rear hill and one can only speculate that they are buried there (There are two unmarked graves to the right rear.)
