Mrs. Ruth Ella Rucker, age 57 of White Rock Road in Mt. Vernon, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Rockcastle Hospital. She was born in Mt. Vernon, KY on June 6, 1951 the daughter of Eugene and Gertrude Capp Hasty and was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived her husband: Cecil Rucker; one son: Cecil Eugene Robert Rucker of Mt. Vernon; one daughter: Ruby Jean Hasty of Mt. Vernon; one brother: E. J. Hasty of Lancaster, KY and two sisters: Mary Jane Hasty of Brodhead and Joyce Mink of Mt. Vernon. Also surviving is one granddaughter: Bethany Ann. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rucker was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
