Miranda Collen Fenner was born Dec. 26, 1979, to Mike and Sherry Fenner. She has a younger brother, Tim.
Miranda moved with her family to Laurel in 1990. She graduated from Laurel High School in May of 1998. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, animals, drawing and shopping.
On Nov. 15, 1998, 18-year-old Miranda was murdered at a video store where she worked in Laurel, Montana. Despite national attention, the use of psychics and hours of police investigation, law enforcement still has no solid leads as to the identity of her killers.
Her parents and brother, as well as her grandparents, Warren and Colleen Schroeder of Laurel; a great-grandma, Maude Schroeder of Fargo, N.D.; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends will miss her love and laughter in their lives.
