Wanda was my cousin through her Father, David Bickmore Kidd.
Our beloved mother and grandmother joyfully joined her eternal companion on Father's Day, June 15, 2008 at the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah at the age of 88 from Causes Incident to Age. She resided at the Avalon Care Center located at 523 North Main Street in Bountiful, Utah at the time of her death. Before moving to the care center, she resided in the Val Verda area of Bountiful, Utah for several years.

She was born on Saturday, September 13, 1919, the youngest of six children, to David Bickmore and Clara Martha Sellers Kidd in Bluffdale, Utah. She graduated from Jordan High School. After her children were born, she attended the School of Nursing at Weber State College, graduating with an LPN degree. She married Hyrum Thomas Eggett on July 19, 1938 and the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 9, 1938. Our mother was an active member of the LDS Church, where she held many positions and callings, including a mission to the Georgia Atlanta Mission. She was a hard worker and helped to support her family. She loved writing poetry, cooking, crocheting, bowling, camping, collecting salt and pepper shakers, dolls, spoons, and most all being with her family.

Mom and Dad were the proud parents of 11 children, Clara Welsh, Lloyd (Mary), Preston (Deborah), JaLynn (Bernie), Deborah (Dan) Koford, Martha (Jay) Smith, Juanita (Richard) Hales, Peggy (Chris) Nielsen, Brent (Cathy), Brenda (Carvel) Izatt, and Hyrum Bickmore (who died at birth). Her posterity also include 42 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mom was preceded in death by her companion, Hyrum; all her siblings; and a great-granddaughter.

A celebration of Wanda's life was held on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Val Verda Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 2651 South 500 West in Bountiful, Utah. Family and Friends attended a Viewing on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary located at 295 North Main Street and on Thursday morning from 9:45-10:45 AM at the Church prior to Services.
Wanda was laid to rest following the conclusion of the Funeral Services at the South Jordan City Cemetery in South Jordan, Utah next to her beloved husband.
REST IN ETERNAL PEACE WANDA.
