METHUEN- Peter Piemonte, 91, of Methuen, died on Friday June 6, 2008 at Nevins Rehabilitation Center in Methuen.
Mr. Piemonte was born in Argentina on May 22, 1917 to Vincent and Concetta (Failla) Piemonte.
He was a native of Sicily. Peter attended school in Regalbuto.Mr. Piemonte was employed as a painter for the Commonwealth of Ma.
For many years. He was also employed as a shoemaker for Cardinal Shoe Company.
Peter was the husband of the late Carmela (Marchese) Piemonte. He is survived by his three sons, Vincent Piemonte and his wife Mary Ann of Windham, N.H., Silvio and Sharon Piemonte of Londonderry, N.H., Sam and Kathy Piemonte of Manchester, N.H.; three daughters Connie and Dennis Ganem of Atkinson, N.H., Josephine and Ken Hughes of Salem, N.H. and Lidia and Don Desrochers of Derry, N.H.; one brother Guiseppe Piemonte of Catania, Sicily; sisters Anna Prestifillippi and husband Francesco of Regalbuto, Sicily, Rosa Nicosia of Catania, Sicily; 15 grandchildren, Lisa Ann Ganem, Julie Candela Weeden, Laurie Candela , Kathryn Candela, Theresa Marie Desrochers, Paul Ernest Desrochers, Peter Donald Desrochers, Christina Carmela Desrochers, Peter Dominic Piemonte, Angela Carmela Piemonte, Alyssa Ann Piemonte, Robert Michael Piemonte, Christopher Piemonte, Kimberly Wensley, Sean Piemonte ,seven great-grandsons, Tage Erik Weeden, Ian Candela, Zachary Wensley, Casey Wensley, Salvatore Piemonte, Lorenzo Piemonte and Genaro Piemonte.He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Salvatore Piemonte.
