ANTIOCH- Joseph M. Sheehan, 62, Antioch, brother of Mrs. John (Hazel) Justice of Woodstock, died Saturday, July 21, in his home.

He was born Oct. 18, 1916, in Lake Villa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Sheehan.

He had been a farmer and a truck driver, and custodian and bus driver for Antioch Grade School, retiring in 1972.

He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus; charter member of Lake Villa VFW Post 4308, and served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

On April 17, 1940, in Antioch, he married Elizabeth Weber, who survives.

He is also survived by five sons, Donald, Waukegan, Dudley, Sycamore, Richard (Tiny), Gurnee, Dennis, Antioch, and Patrick, Brillion, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Judy) Paulsen, Grayslake; 11 grandchildren; another sister, Mrs. Arline Slazes, Lake Villa; and three brothers, Elmer and Warren, Lake Villa, and Charles (Bud), Lake Worth, Fla.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Robert, and a sister, Stella Stahmer.

Mass was offered at 10:30 a.m. today in St. Peter's Catholic Church, with burial in Williow Lawn Memorial Park, Mundelein.

Visitation and prayers and VFW service were held in the Strang funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Antioch Rescue Squad.
