Alton Francis "Doc" was the third son of Ernest Wiseman "Wisie" and Lilly Alice (Crowell) Biggs.
He married Esma Maurine Duren on July 17, 1936 in Jourdanton, Atascosa Co. Texas. Together they had two sons, and two daughters. One son, Stanley Jay, died April 25, 2000.
Doc's siblings were: William Jennings "Willie J." Biggs, John Vernon "Pete" Biggs, Mattie Leona "Sis" (Biggs) West, Sarah Bernice "Dolly" (Biggs)[Hinds] McCampbell, Olga Dorothy "Dick" (Biggs) Huff, and Alta May "Dottie" (Biggs) Mace.
Doc was the grandson of Cicero Cinsannatti Biggs, g-grandson of Miles Monroe Biggs, and gg-grandson of Daniel Archibald Biggs.
'Uncle Doc" was a favorite with his many neices and nephews.
