Ada Marie Anderson was the daughter of William Sidney "Will" Anderson and Mary Emmaline "Emma" Anson. She was the second wife of Hardin Licurgas "Kurd" Reeves. They had seven children: Etta Reeves Gilliland, Harold Reeves, Edna Lola Reeves Thurman, Arthur Edgar Reeves, Ora Florence Reeves DeLong Gehrer, John Allen Reeves, and Cora Mae Reeves Goates.
After Hardin's death, she remarried to William L. "Bill" Robbins on April 8, 1948 in Marion County, Arkansas. He was a shoe cobbler and bee keeper.
