Bernadette Ann Augustine, 68, Salina, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007. Mrs. Augustine was born Bernadette Ann Kreutzer on April 10, 1939, in Liebenthal.
She had worked for Tony's Pizza Service, Salina. She was also the cafeteria manager at Salina Regional Health Center until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, VFW Post No. 1432 Ladies Auxillary, the Area Eagles Chapter 765 and the Disabled Veterans Chapter 11, all of Salina.
Survivors include her husband, Francis, of the home; four sons, Richard, Randolph, Dennis and Donald, all of Salina; three daughters, Sandra Johnson, Donna Graybeal and Kimberly Augustine, all of Salina; a brother, Jerry of LaCrosse; two sisters, Melissa Allen of LaCrosse and Virginia Schaffer of Marion; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Doug Ashbridge, of Salina.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Tuesday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, Salina 67401, Father Kerry Ninemire officiating. Burial will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Salina. A vigil will be held and a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
Memorials may be made to the church for Masses. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
