JACKSONVILLE - Memorial services for Bobby Joe Jones, 69, Dallas, formerly of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at New Community United Methodist Church with the Revs. Larry Smith and David Daviss officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Jacksonville, under direction of Community Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mr. Jones died Oct. 6, 2007, in Dallas.
He was born Feb. 22, 1938, in Pine Grove community, where he grew up and attended public schools. He was a day laborer and member of Wilson Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include brother, Cecil Jones, Las Vegas, Nev.; and sisters, Nova Lee Franklin, Tyler, Ester Mary Owens and Dorothy Jones, both of Dallas, Patsy Hollis, Jacksonville, and Carolyn Smith Hanford, California.
