Ona Mae Ireland Hukill, 90, formally of Georgetown, the widow of John Thomas Hukill, died Mon. May 12, 2008 in Richmond, KY. She was born Sept. 30, 1917 in Harrison Co., KY to the late John Robert and Mattie Baldwin Ireland. She was a substitute teacher for 25 years, teacher of Beginners Sunday School, member of WMU, Training Union, Bible School, and First Great Crossing Homemakers. She is survived by her son John Warren (Marilyn) Hukill of Nicholsville; daughter Polly Ann (George) Southworth of Richmond. Grandchildren Sharon (Tim) McCorkle, Karen Kaye (Mark) Armistead, Kemberlee Ann Hukill, Duane (Amy) Southworth, Karla Ann Southworth, Bobbi (Marty) Williams & Katherine Hukill (Chris). Great Grandchildren Shawn, Owen, Megan, Alex, Brice, Evan, Morgan & Warren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Terry Lee Hukill and a sister, Alta Wood Cottrell. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wed. May 14, 2008 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Roach officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens with pallbearers being, David B. Glass II, Ron Hasting, Alvin Tuttle, Lou Hoffman, Joe Hoffman, Chuck Tackett, and Macy Tackett. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Great Crossing Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5-8 Tues. May 13, 2008 at the funeral
