Glen Lewis Bronson was born Feb. 26, 1927, the son of Louis and Helen (Olson) Bronson, in Norway Township, Kittson County, Minn. He attended school in Lake Bronson. He served in the U.S. Navy in 1945. He married Shirley Jacobson on July 12, 1950, in Lake Bronson. They made their home in Lake Bronson, where he worked at Danielson's Garage. They lived in California and Minneapolis from 1965 to 1970. They returned to Lake Bronson, where he was employed by Soo Line Railroad. He retired in 1986.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Galen (Carol), Bemidji, and Gary (Judy), Lake Bronson; a daughter, Connie (Barry) Olson, Lake Bronson; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Vendle Steen, Chicago.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Donald and Vermin.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Community Church, Lake Bronson.
Visitation: 7 t 9 p.m. today, Hughes Funeral Home, Hallock, Minn., and one hour before services in the church.
