Born, June 19, 1926, in Vienna, Austria, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Julianne (Brosha) Sobisek.
Margarete was a kindergarten aide for the Spring Grove Area School District. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing for her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Margarete Parrish Grubb and her husband, Kenneth of Hershey and Barbara Ann Parrish Becker and her husband, Clifford of Thomasville; two granddaughters, Andrea Marie Withrow Moul and her husband, Gregory, Jr. of York and Christine Shawn Withrow of Arlington, Texas; and five greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters all living in Vienna. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Christine Parrish Kopp; two brothers; and a sister.
Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
