She was born Feb. 13, 1905, in Harris, Minn., to Charles and Anna (Erickson) Carlson. She has been a resident of the Wenatchee area for over 25 years.
Stancy and David Seifred Barklind (1898-1980) were married in Minneapolis, Minn., on Nov. 1, 1924. They moved to Cashmere in 1971 from the Mount Vernon area and then after her husband's death in 1980, she moved to Wenatchee. She enjoyed fellowship as a part of a body of non-denominational Christians. She was an avid reader and enjoyed writing letters to her friends.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Barklind of East Wenatchee and Roy of Mora, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Barklind; daughters, Mavis and Georgia; her son, Merlyn; brothers, Ernest and Leonard; and a sister, Rose.
Services are under the care of Betts Funeral Service, Wenatchee.
