Della Kershaw Reinhardt, 77, of Bloomfield, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008, in her home. She was our wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born July 22, 1930, to William George Kershaw and Sarah Myrtle Florence in Park City, Utah.

Della met her eternal sweetheart Carl W. Reinhardt in Vallejo, Calif., at a church dance. They were married Aug. 12, 1950. Their marriage later was solemnized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Salt Lake temple.

She is survived by her husband, Carl, of 57 years; two daughters, Katheryne Lairmore and husband, Richard, of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Suzanne Howard and husband, Robert, of Farmington; two sons, Carl Reinhardt Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, of Jamestown, and Michael Reinhardt and wife, Gaye, of Bloomfield; 16 grandchildren (11 Eagle Scouts, five military, three LDS missionaries, college graduates, athletes, students), Scott and wife, Yvette, Greg, and wife, Jenifer, Mark, and wife, Amanda, and Terrance and wife, Carolyn Lairmore, Katheryne Kasper and husband, Kelly, Brock, Broderick, Brandt and wife, Jeannette, and Bracy Howard, Carl III, Daniel and wife, Holly Reinhardt, and Lisa and husband, Chris Salinas, Michael Jr. and wife, Terumi, Kenneth, Arminda and Josh Reinhardt. Della also is survived by 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bette Webber and Nellis Warnock; extended family and friends.
Della was preceded in death by her parents; half-brother, Worthy Reed, and twin brother, Dale Kershaw.

Her support for the LDS church, scouting, military, education, athletics and missionary work will stand as a legacy. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful compassionate service she received from the Bloomfield 2nd Ward and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, May 30, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel in Bloomfield, with Bishop Jerry Spangler officiating. She will be laid to rest at the East Hammond Cemetery in Bloomfield.
